Maison Courvoisier—the cognac house founded by Félix Courvoisier in Jarnac, France, in 1828—isn’t resting on its laurels. After unveiling a whole new look for its three standard cognacs in early 2022, the iconic brand is back at it with the release of its new XO Royal, an ultrapremium cognac that honours Courvoisier’s long association with Europe’s royal courts. The XO Royal is made from Fins Bois de Jarnac blended with Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie from the region’s most notable vineyards. In a teardrop-shaped bottle topped with a glass stopper embellished with facets, Courvoisier’s XO Royal is meant to be enjoyed during the most regal of evenings.

The story of the Waterford Distillery is one of vision, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of quality. Founded in 2014 by Mark Reynier, a pioneer in the whisky industry and former owner of the renowned Bruichladdich Distillery in Scotland, Waterford set out to revolutionize Irish whiskey by embracing the concept of terroir—the idea that a whiskey’s flavor is deeply influenced by the place where its ingredients are grown.
Located on Ireland’s picturesque southeast coast, in the historic city of Waterford, the distillery was housed in a state-of-the-art facility that had previously been a Guinness brewery. Mark Reynier transformed the site into one of the most advanced distilleries in the world, combining traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. Waterford’s mission was simple yet ambitious: to prove that the origin of the barley could create distinctive, farm-specific flavors in whiskey.
Despite its critical acclaim and groundbreaking approach, Waterford Distillery recently closed its doors, making its whiskies a rare and valuable part of Irish whiskey history.

Waterford Single Farm Origin Lakefield 1.1
• Profile: Sourced from the Lakefield Farm, this expression reflects the farm’s unique terroir, with rich notes of honey-drizzled pears, warm spices, and toasted oak. Its smooth, layered finish makes it a delight for both seasoned enthusiasts and newcomers.
The Friar John Cor ‘The Cask Strength Congregation Batch’ – Chapter 2, was matured in a selection of Bourbon, STR & Peated Rum casks. As with all Lindores bottlings it has no added colouring, is non-chill filtered and bottled onsite at the batch cask strength of 60.9%.
The introduction of the peated casks which originally held rum, gives a very exciting point of difference to our unpeated spirit. The end result is just fantastic with a complex Whisky with syrupy fruity sweetness balanced perfectly with deep earthy peated notes that compliment perfectly in this unique Lindores Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
The design of the eye-catching black bottle, mirroring the Exclusive 1494 First Release Bottle, draws on several elements of Lindores Abbey’s history, most obviously the dramatic black colour which is inspired by the black cloth tunics worn by the Lindores monks back in 1494. This unique bottle shape is also in homage to the magnificent stone pillars which would have been found throughout the Abbey, the remains of which can still be found in the ruins today.
This batch was quite possibly our most anticipated release yet, with the Chapter 1 selling out across the UK in just a few days from its release date.
With the last 4 years of maturation spent in a Fino cask, this whisky from Dailuaine distillery is deliciously savoury with notes of green olives, marmite, samphire.
Rarely seen as a single malt, which allows independent bottlers to present this spirit to whisky lovers, Dailuaine spirit is heavy and meaty thanks to the long fermentation period, quick distillation and the use of stainless steel in the condensers.
Based in Aberlour in Speyside, Dailuaine was once the largest distillery in the region and, although that’s no longer the case today, capacity was increased by 25% in 2012.
Nose:
Green olives, peanut butter, marmite, ripe banana, cigar box.
Flavour:
Anchovies, tobacco leaf, seaweed, samphire.
Finish:
Honey, ginger, waxy fruit.
The previous bourbon releases from the highly acclaimed and award-winning Cask Strength program have featured Angel’s Envy’s traditional Ruby Port Wine finish. This year’s annual release offers a new spin by introducing a Tawny Port Wine finish blended with the traditional Ruby Port Wine finish to create a bourbon with extraordinary depth.
Master Distiller Owen Martin and the best-in-class production team blended the mellow finish from Tawny Port barrels with the base bourbon’s heat to integrate seamlessly with the trademark Ruby Port, crafting a rich and complex profile that honors the Cask Strength tradition. The robust oak and toffee from the bourbon harmonize with the hallmark Ruby Port character, while Tawny Port adds a nutty, caramelized fruit quality that bridges the two flavors. Using the Solera Method for the first time at ANGEL’S ENVY, they created a continuous aging process that ensures consistent flavor, resulting in a bourbon of extraordinary depth.
Elegant spice, treacle toffee, rich sherry oak – with an endlessly complex finish. Matured exclusively in hand-selected sherry casks for a character-building quarter-century. Made in the distillery’s traditional way, with the slowest distillation in Scotland and no peat used in the process.
Nose: Big notes of sherry-soaked fruit up front – raisins, figs and oranges. This is followed by wafts of toasted almonds and classic notes of old leather.
Palate: Vanilla and dark chocolate open up the palate. Sherry comes through yet again, but this time in the shape of rich, well spiced fruit cake. Hints of orange and oak round it off.
Finish: The finish lasts with notes of red fruits and cracked black pepper.
We are delighted to bring our Lindores Single Malt Scotch Whisky MCDXCIV (1494) to whisky lovers the world over. Matured in a selection of Bourbon Barrels, Wine Barriques and Sherry Butts. Distilled from Kingdom of Fife barley through our distinctive ‘sister’ spirit stills and distillery bottled.
Colour: Golden
Nose: Elegant, soft, mellow vanilla, caramel notes playing with orchard fruits and sweet pear drops. Reminiscent of toffee apples!
Palate: Smooth with a creamy texture and a perfect balance of mellow vanilla, dried fruits, citrus touches with a hint of spice.
Finish: Medium length, delicate but lingering finish
