A great story and great idea from High West, this is a blend of bourbon, rye and peated Scotch whiskies. During a visit to Islay, High West founder David Perkins was enjoying breakfast at a B&B near Bruichladdich on Islay, which included a syrup made from sugar and peated whisky poured over honeydew melon. He loved this idea and decided to blend sweet bourbon with peaty Islay single malt, with some spicy Rye too, a cracking combination.
