Here we have a rare edition of Johnnie Walker’s Blue Label Ghost & Rare series. This expression is the first of the series to be overseen by master blender Emma Walker. Included within is grain whisky from Glasgow’s Port Dundas distillery (which closed back in 2010), matured in second-fill and heavily charred first-fill American oak casks. Whiskies from two other “ghost” distilleries, Cambus and Brora are also included, alongside a host of five exceptionally rare single malts selected from the high-quality Johnnie Walker Blue Label reserves.
