We’re incredibly excited about this latest limited edition release, launched as part ‘The Casks of Lindores’ series, which has been created to showcase the award winning spirit of Lindores Abbey Distillery. This, the first release has been exclusively matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 49.4% vol, which is a higher strength than the core single malt release at the distillery.

Colour: Pale Gold
Nose: Mellow fruity, red apples and pears combined with sweet vanilla, butterscotch and custard with citrus touches.
Palate: Vanilla mixed with orchard fruits like green cooking apples, citric pith with a hint of bitterness covered with oaky woody notes and spicy peppery touches.
Finish: Medium length lingering finish

After unveiling a whole new look for its three standard cognacs in early 2022, the iconic brand is back at it with the release of its new XO Royal, an ultrapremium cognac that honours Courvoisier’s long association with Europe’s royal courts. The XO Royal is made from Fins Bois de Jarnac blended with Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie from the region’s most notable vineyards. Launched in 2020, the 25th year of Arran’s production, this expression was aged in a combination of 35% ex-sherry and 65% ex-bourbon casks, and it was all allowed 12 months of maturation in first-fill and refill sherry hogsheads before bottling. Here’s to a quarter of a century of top whisky from Arran, and here’s to many more!

Glengoyne 25Yr Highland Single Malt (48% abv)
$714.99Add to cartElegant spice, treacle toffee, rich sherry oak – with an endlessly complex finish. Matured exclusively in hand-selected sherry casks for a character-building quarter-century. Made in the distillery’s traditional way, with the slowest distillation in Scotland and no peat used in the process.
Nose: Big notes of sherry-soaked fruit up front – raisins, figs and oranges. This is followed by wafts of toasted almonds and classic notes of old leather.
Palate: Vanilla and dark chocolate open up the palate. Sherry comes through yet again, but this time in the shape of rich, well spiced fruit cake. Hints of orange and oak round it off.
Finish: The finish lasts with notes of red fruits and cracked black pepper.
