“This small batch bottling of Tomintoul has been developed by deliberately selecting Tomintoul aged in outstanding ex-bourbon American oak barrels, which are then wedded and finished in hand chosen Cognac casks from France,” the distillery explains. A single malt that is beautifully rich, complex, and full-flavoured is the result of the “finishing” process.
