Cadenhead’s Dailuaine 15 Year Old Chairman’s Stock Cask Strength (53.6% abv)
$114.99With the last 4 years of maturation spent in a Fino cask, this whisky from Dailuaine distillery is deliciously savoury with notes of green olives, marmite, samphire.
Rarely seen as a single malt, which allows independent bottlers to present this spirit to whisky lovers, Dailuaine spirit is heavy and meaty thanks to the long fermentation period, quick distillation and the use of stainless steel in the condensers.
Based in Aberlour in Speyside, Dailuaine was once the largest distillery in the region and, although that’s no longer the case today, capacity was increased by 25% in 2012.
Nose:
Green olives, peanut butter, marmite, ripe banana, cigar box.Flavour:
Anchovies, tobacco leaf, seaweed, samphire.Finish:
Honey, ginger, waxy fruit. -

Lindores Friar John Cor Chapter Two (60.9% abv)
$102.99The Friar John Cor ‘The Cask Strength Congregation Batch’ – Chapter 2, was matured in a selection of Bourbon, STR & Peated Rum casks. As with all Lindores bottlings it has no added colouring, is non-chill filtered and bottled onsite at the batch cask strength of 60.9%.
The introduction of the peated casks which originally held rum, gives a very exciting point of difference to our unpeated spirit. The end result is just fantastic with a complex Whisky with syrupy fruity sweetness balanced perfectly with deep earthy peated notes that compliment perfectly in this unique Lindores Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
The design of the eye-catching black bottle, mirroring the Exclusive 1494 First Release Bottle, draws on several elements of Lindores Abbey’s history, most obviously the dramatic black colour which is inspired by the black cloth tunics worn by the Lindores monks back in 1494. This unique bottle shape is also in homage to the magnificent stone pillars which would have been found throughout the Abbey, the remains of which can still be found in the ruins today.
This batch was quite possibly our most anticipated release yet, with the Chapter 1 selling out across the UK in just a few days from its release date.

Lochlea Sowing Edition 3rd Crop (46% abv)
$84.99Original price was: $84.99.$61.99Current price is: $61.99.Our limited edition seasonal whiskies have been a great way for us to showcase our spirit style in a variety of different casks to reflect the farming calendar. Our Third Crop will be the last, completing the trilogy.
Sowing Edition embodies springtime on Lochlea Farm when we sow the fields with barley seed. The days start to stretch, the daffodils pop out to say hello, and we begin another year of growing barley for our single malt whisky.
Like the First and Second Crops, Sowing Edition Third Crop has been matured in 100% first-fill Bourbon barrels. We’ve found over the years that our spirit works particularly well in this type of cask, as the apple notes in our new make complement the vanilla flavours typically found in Bourbon barrels.
This whisky opens with flavours of almonds and rose petals on the nose, developing into a vibrant burst of apple blossom underpinned with white pepper and crisp pear on the palate. The finish is gentle, with notes of warm straw and freshly-cut grass.
Sowing Edition (Third Crop) is non-chill filtered with no added colouring.

Cadenhead’s Fettercairn 17 Year Old Chairman’s Stock Cask Strength (54.8% abv)
$129.99Finished in a Granada rum cask since 2019, this bottling from Fettercairn distillery features notes of barbecued bananas, pineapple upside down cake and lemon zest.
Fettercairn is a highland distillery sat by the Cairngorm Mountatins.
Given the equipment and production style, it’s easy to see why a firm, relatively heavy, nutty style whisky is created. Furthermore, between 1995 & 2009, the condensers were made of stainless steel, adding a slightly burnt, pot ale character to the new make. However, a cooling ring at the top of the swan neck, spraying cold water down the still sides, helps reflux and guides the spirit towards a lighter profile.
Nose:
Barbecued bananas, mineral notes, pampas grass, sherbert lemons.Flavour:
Coastal notes, miso, chalk.Finish:
Pineapple upside down cake, gooseberries, lemon zest. -
